If the representative I spoke with was incorrect in telling me that ANY State Farm office I go to near me would be able to simply fax the required documents they needed from me to their office then forgive me. Somehow however, upon walking into this office the energy was very off. The man who got up to unlock the door just stared at me, didn't smile, didn't speak, just stared at me. I said good morning and explained what I was there for. He said is Fred Garcia your agent? I explained again. Not my agent, not my policy. A request from your company to me is only to fax these documents. For whatever reason, he sat down pulled up the name of the insured then said here's a phone number. I don't need to speak to anyone sir, just fax. He made every excuse to NOT help me. I was very uncomfortable. Quite honestly, he looked at me as if I didn't belong there. My complexion may have been a bit much for him. How difficult could it have been to fax a death certificate???? My intentions after taking care of this task was to speak with the agent there in order to obtain my own insurance. I'll be going somewhere else and you sir just lost a customer for Mr Garcia. Do Better.
